New Delhi: Star Plus’ ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ has managed to keep the viewers hooked on to their television sets with its drama-packed episodes. The show starring Erica Fernandes, Parth Samthaan and Hina Khan is doing quite well in terms of TRPs. Hina, who plays the role of Komolika in the romantic saga, will be taking a break of four-five months to focus on her other work commitments. Speculations were rife that the makers have approached Aalisha Panwar, Krystle D’Souza and Anita Hassanandani to replace Hina as Komolika. Aalisha, who is currently seen in the role of Tara in ‘Ishq Mein Marjawan’, has reacted to the rumours. The beautiful actress, while talking to an entertainment portal, opened up on the buzz regarding her replacing Hina in ‘Kasautii 2’. Aalisha chose to stay tight-lipped and told the portal, “Nothing concrete has emerged so far. So I’d rather keep quiet.” “All the actors who have been part of this #1 show right from Season 1 have been very lucky. It is very good to work with Ekta Kapoor and her highly-talented Balaji Telefilms team. I was a kid when Season 1 reigned supreme, yet I remember it. All the hype around this very powerful brand is worth it, for the story is not only very grandly presented but also has a soul,” Aalisha further told IWMBuzz. Sources close to ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ have informed us that Aalisha was indeed approached for the show. However, the actress was approached when Hina was not on-board for the show. Speaking about Hina, the actress will soon make an exit from ‘Kasautii 2’. A new villain is expected to enter the show and Hina will not get replaced, if a recent report is to be believed.
