Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum actor Karan V Grover on his birthday plans: 'I love exploring new places on my b'day'

Popular TV actor Karan V Grover, who is currently seen in 'Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum', opened up on his birthday plans.

New Delhi: One of the most popular faces of the Indian TV industry, actor Karan V. Grover turned a year older on Saturday (June 22).  Although people associate the star’s lives with absolute glitz and glam and expect a starry bash on their birthdays, Karan V. Grover does exactly the opposite. For him his birthday is all about him. Sharing his interests on the same, Karan says, “My Birthday resolution has always been to go and explore the outdoors. This year I would be trekking up a hill fort in Maharashtra." One thing that comes best out of the vibrant ideas regarding celebrating birthdays, are memories. On being asked about his best birthday memory Karan shares, “The best memory I have of my birthday is when I went skydiving in Mauritius and the fact that it was a solo trip made it all the more special.” Karan, who turned 37 on Saturday, is currently in the news for essaying the role of Dr. Rohit Sippy in Star Plus’ recently launched show ‘Kahan Hum Kahan Tum’. On playing a doctor and preparing for his role, the dashing actor shared how he had to constantly prepare for playing a surgeon as they were doing various scenes at different points. “I do try to speak to as many doctors and surgeons specially to keep the language effortless and simple, yet medically correct. Plus our creative director and producer Sandiip Sickand has done tons of research for the character and that is very helpful”, he shares. Actors play a lot many characters in their lives and some of them really stay with them and some are the exact opposite of their own self. Karan had something similar to say when asked about if he relates to his character, “Dr. Sippy is not like me at all. He has a different attitude towards life and things. But I do relate to how attached and connected he is to his profession at the same time.” Karan V. Grover has been receiving accolades for his role from his fans and co-actors after the first episode went on air. Feeling elated he shared, “it is very encouraging for now. I hope we constantly manage to engage and entertain the audience and this converts into viewership numbers.” Kahan Hum Kahan Tum, which is based on a unique concept of the coming together of two individual souls from two very different backgrounds, airs on Star Plus, Monday to Friday at 9 PM.
