Hina Khan aka Komolika from 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' set to make her Bollywood debut!

TV actress Hina Khan, who recently entered Ekta Kapoor's much-hyped reboot of 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' as new Komolika, is on a break from the 'Star Plus' show. Recently during a live chat with her fans, Hina revealed the reason behind her absence from the show & said that she is busy with the preparations of her next project for which she has also learned to ride a bike. However, she didn't revealed anything else about the project. But now, the details about Hina's next project are out & it is going to be a film. Yes, you read that right! The story is set in Kashmir in the 90s. Veteran actress Farida Jalal will play her grandmother.” The TV actress, who became a household name after playing the character of an ideal 'bahu' Akshara in long-running 'Star Plus' show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', confirmed the news & is super-excited for her film debut. Hina told TOI that, “It’s a female-centric story. I also love the fact that it’s set in a time and place, where we are away from the hustle and bustle of city life, technology, daily rush and competition. Rahat Kazmi (film's producer) & Shakti Singh has written the film. After completing the shooting of her debut film, Hina will resume shooting for 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' immediately. Hina Khan's stint as a contestant in the controversial reality show 'Bigg Boss' has turned out to be a turning-point in her career. Ever since Hina came out of the 'Colors' reality show in January this year, she is super-busy with her work. Apart from walking the ramp at various prestigious fashion shows, Hina did her first music-video titled 'Bhasoodi' which turned out to be a hit & was loved by her fans. She will soon make her digital debut with a short-film titled 'Smart Phone' co-starring Kunal Roy Kapur and Akshay Oberoi. Also, Ekta Kapoor has signed her for another TV show along with 'Kasautii...' in which Hina will play the positive lead.
