‘How Can People Drag A Third Person Into Their Own Fight?’: Ekta Kapoor Comes Out In Support Of Pearl V Puri After His Arrest
Ekta Kapoor, who has worked with Pearl V Puri in several shows has now come out in support of the ‘Naagin 3’ actor. The producer shared a long note stating that Pearl has been uselessly dragged into another fight.
Mumbai: Television actor Peral V Puri was arrested on Friday (June 4, 2021) for allegedly raping and molesting a minor girl. He has been allegedly accused of raping a minor daughter of one of his own fellow female artists. Many celebrities including Krystle D’Souza, Anita Hassanandani and others came out in support of Pearl V Puri after the news of his arrest story broke out.
Ekta Kapoor, who has worked with Pearl V Puri in several shows has now come out in support of the ‘Naagin 3’ actor. The producer shared a long note stating that Pearl has been uselessly dragged into another fight.
Ekta shared a note which read, “Will I support a child molester…or a molester of any kind? But what I witnessed from last night to now, was the absolute low in human depravity. How can humanity go to this level? How can people who are upset with each other, drag a third person into their own fight? How can a human being take on another human being and do this?”
“After various calls with the child‘s/girl’s mother, who openly said that Pearl was not involved and it’s her husband trying to create stories to keep her child and prove that a working mother on a set cannot take care of her kid”, added Ekta Kapoor.
Ekta Kapoor further revealed in her post that she has all the voice notes and messages between her and the child’s mother. She revealed, “I have all the voice notes and messages between the child’s mother and me which clearly points to the false allegations being put on Pearl.”
Pearl V Puri has been arrested by Waliv Police from the Vasai area. A case has been registered against him under section CR IPC 376 AB, r/w POCSO Act 4, 8, 12, 19, 21.
