'Diya Aur Baati Hum' Actress Deepika Singh Goyal's Mother Tests Positive For Coronavirus

Popular TV actress Deepiks Singh shared a post on social media, requesting the government of Delhi to help her mother, who has tested positive for COVID-19.

New Delhi: Popular TV actress Deepika Singh Goyal, who is fondly known for playing the role of Sandhya opposite Anas Rashid in Star Plus’ ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’, took to Twitter to inform that her mother has tested positive for Coronavirus. The actress said that her parents are in Delhi and Lady Hardinge hospital didn’t give her mother’s reports but only allowed her father to click a picture. Deepika tagged Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and PMO India in her tweet and hoped that her mother received some help from the concerned authorities. “My mom & dad are in Delhi. Mom has been diagnosed with Covid positive & Lady Hardinge hospital didn’t give reports only allowed my father to click its picture. I really hope the concerned personell are reading this and my mom there receives some relief. @ArvindKejriwal @PMOIndia,” Deepika wrote on the micro-blogging site.

Mohena shared a video on Instagram and requested the government of Delhi to extend help to her to mother. The actress said that she can't travel to Delhi as she has to take care of her small kid. Check out the video!

Jay Bhanushali and Monalisa dropped comments on the post. Monalisa, last seen in 'Nazar 2', wrote, "Ohh god!!! This is shocking... and i am very upset hearing this... They are currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Rishikesh. Deepika is currently spending her quarantine with husband Rohit Raj Goyal and son Soham Goyal. She welcomed her first child on May 20, 2017. The actress often shares videos and pictures with her son on social media.
