Diya Aur Baati Hum's 'Sooraj Rathi' Anas Rashid & Wife Heena Iqbal Celebrate 2nd Marriage Anniversary At A Water Park

Now a father of a 7 months old daughter Aayat, popular TV actor Anas Rashid who has been on a sabbatical from acting and has turned farmer for a while, celebrated his second Wedding Anniversary with wife Heena Iqbal on September 9th

Popularly known as 'Suraj Rathi' from Star Plus show 'Diya Aur Baati Hum', actor Anas Rashid celebrated his 2nd Marriage Anniversary on 9th September with wife Heena Iqbal. Anas, who was last seen in 'DABH' sequel 'Tu Sooraj, Main Saanjh Piyaji' in a cameo, spent the special day beating the heat at a water park in Mumbai with his dear wife. Both Anas and Hina, who became parents to their first child, daughter Aayat on February 11 this year, pose together in water in a very happy and jolly mode. Anas posted this picture on Wednesday, 2 days after the anniversary and the fans are showering him with wishes and love with their reaction to the beautiful picture in the comments section. The actor who's on a sabbatical from acting to pursue his passion for farming, captions the picture- "Anniversary Masti,,,, ????????".

While Anas isn't seen on the small screen ever since 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' ended in 2016(apart from 2-3 appearances in its sequel 'Tu Suraj..' in 2017), his lead female co-star who played the main protagonist 'IPS Sandhya Rathi' in the show, Deepika Singh, made a comeback with Colors TV supernatural show 'Kawach - Mahashivratri' this year opposite Namik Paul and Vin Rana. He did also make his film debut with Gurdas Maan starrer punjabi film 'Nankana' in 2018 which also featured Kavita Kaushik. Pics and Videos: ‘Kawach – Mahashivratri’ actress Deepika Singh celebrates 30th Birthday in a grand party, dances with husband, cuts cake with co-stars namik paul on sets It was revealed last year that Anas Rashid who has worked in also TV shows like 'Kahiin To Hoga', 'Kyaa Hoga Nimmo Kaa', 'Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan', 'Aise Karo Naa Vidaa' has been on a sabbatical from acting to pursue his passion for farming. "I have turned farmer. I was always interested in this, I was born and brought up in Malerkotla (Chandigarh), I find my roots here," Anas told Spotboye in a 2018 interview. The actor said that he is spending his most time "on field cultivating, running tractors" and that he's "loving it."

Anas' wife also supports him in this decision. "She supports all my decisions. In fact she was surprised to hear this when I said I am planning to quit TV for now and become a farmer. However, she keeps telling me I can't believe that a TV star like you can do all this work with so much of dedication," he added further. Anas had then said he won't be back on screen before five years as he is enjoying his current occupation and which goes to mean there are 4 more years left for his fans to see him on TV. Actor got married to Heena Iqbal on 9^th September 2017 with Muslim traditions. Ceremony took place in Anas’ hometown in Punjab, Malerkotla. Anas Rashi and wife Heena Iqbal on their Wedding Anas is also enjoying the paternal bliss with the arrival of his daughter Aayat who's now 7 months old and the doting dad regularly updates his Instagram page with adorable pictures posing with his newborn.
