'Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna' Actress Tina Philip & Fiance Nikhil Sharma Postpone Their Wedding Amid Coronavirus Outbreak

Wedding ceremony of TV couple Tina Philip and Nikhil Sharma, who played siblings in Star Plus' 'Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee', get delayed due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.

New Delhi: TV actress Tina Philip, who was seen playing the role of Shrenu Parikh's onscreen sister 'Ishani' in Star Plus show 'Ek Bhram... Saravagun Sampanna' also featuring Zain Imam, in April last year announced that she is dating actor Nikhil Sharma who played her onscreen brother 'Ashok' in 'Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee'. The much-in-love couple then got engaged in August and was all set to get married on April 4. However, Tina & Nikhil have now postponed their marriage due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. Yes, you read that right!

Confirming the same, Tina informed a leading daily that, "We were planning to have two weddings — a Christian wedding in Mumbai on April 4 and a Hindu wedding in Haridwar at a later date. My relatives from the UK, US and the Middle East were supposed to attend the wedding. However, we have postponed both the ceremonies now. I have heard of some couples getting married with just their parents in attendance, and postponing the celebrations to a later date. Unfortunately, we can’t even do that as my parents are in the UK and will not able to fly to India."

The talented actress, who was super-excited for her wedding day, is a bit disappointed. Sharing the same, she further told TOI that, "I was eagerly waiting for my big day; Nikhil and I were looking forward to it. We waited for eight months after our engagement as we wanted to have enough time to plan the wedding perfectly. I was also looking forward to meeting my parents, extended family and friends under one roof. I feel bad about the losses they would have incurred with so many cancellations of flight tickets." This is indeed a sad news for the couple's fans who were desperately waiting for their big day. Seems like, they have to wait a little longer. Nikhil then wooed Tina for almost four months before Tina yielded.

On the TV front, Tina Philip made her acting debut as protagonist 'Aastha' with 'Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee' opposite Kanwar Dhillon and 'Ek Bhram... Sarvagun Sampanna' was her second show.
