Bigg Boss 14: Paras Chhabra's former Akanksha Puri has reportedly quit her show 'Vighnaharta Ganesha' to participate in the upcoming reality show.

With ‘Bigg Boss 14’ around the corner, the makers of the popular reality show have approached leading names to be part of the new season. ‘Bigg Boss 2020’ has been making waves ever since the first promo was unveiled last month. Ardent fans of the show are eagerly waiting to know which celebs will get locked inside the ‘BB 14’ house. If a recent report in a leading is to be believed, a popular TV actress has quit her show and we might see her in ‘Bigg Boss 14’. We are talking about Akanksha Puri. The talented actress, who plays the role of Goddess Parvati in ‘Vighnaharta Ganesh’, has put down her papers on August 31. She is reportedly serving her notice period. The shooting for the mythological show has been stalled for a week now, the report added. The channel and the production house has a meeting to decide to the fate of the show, a source told Times Of India.

Talking about Akanksha Puri, the ‘Calendar Girls’ actress is in talks for two-three shows including ‘Bigg Boss 14’. Gossip mills are buzzing with the rumours that she was approached for the controversial show. The small screen diva is contemplating the offer. Interestingly, Akanksha’s former boyfriend Paras Chhabra participated in ‘Bigg Boss 13’. He emerged as one of the finalists of ‘BB 13’. Paras took home a suitcase with Rs 10 lakh after quitting the show in the finale episode. Paras’ closeness with co-contestant Mahira Sharma grabbed several eyeballs. He parted ways with Akanksha after coming out of ‘Bigg Boss 13’ house. Their break-up set many tongues wagging as Puri supported him throughout his ‘Bigg Boss’ journey. Akanksha recently hogged the limelight after her cosy pictures with singer Mika Singh went viral on social media.
