New Delhi: Balika Vadhu actress will soon become a mother after 10 years of being married to Ayushman Agarwal. The actress took to Instagram to announce about her pregnancy. She shared a photo with her husband from a maternity photoshoot. 

Sharing the picture on Instagram, Neha wrote, “Shri Shivaya Namastubhyam (handfolded emoji). Finally God has arrived in me (handfolded emoji). Baby coming soon 2023 (three red heart emojis).”  

She wore a red dress and showed off her baby bump. Her husband was seen in a black formal suit with a white shirt.   

Her friends from the television industry were quick to congratulate her. Actor Rashmi Desai commented, “Congratulations.” Anita Hassanandani wrote, “Congratulations (red heart emoji)". Actor Chandni commented, “So happy for you (three red heart emojis." Actor Maera Misshra wrote, “Oh my God, congratulations my love (red heart emojis).” 

In a conversation with Times of India, Neha revealed that her baby is due in May. The actress had earlier denied her pregnancy rumours, on being asked about that, she replied, “I didn’t have any option but to deny it, as I hadn’t completed three months. Also, my family is too protective of me and they wanted me to talk about it only after I entered the second trimester.” 

The actress also said that though she is not superstitious, she believes in following customs. “Call me old school, but I believe in following customs and traditions. I have seen my mom and mother-in-law follow them, too. I am taking my pregnancy as any other beautiful phase in my life. I am excited to know that I am creating a miracle within me in the form of my baby, who grows every day,” she was quoted as saying to Times of India. 

Neha and Ayushman married in 2012. The actor has done shows like Balika Vadhu, Doli Armaano Ki and Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti. She was also part of dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 8.
