BAD NEWS! IT'S CONFIRMED! Star Plus' POPULAR show Naamkarann to go off air on this date!

Here's a bad news for all the fans of Star Plus' popular show, 'Naamkaran' which is one of the most loved shows on television these days. From the last few months, rumours of the show going off air are doing the rounds, but now we have a date! In-fact recently, the lead actor of the show, Zain Imam had appealed the fans to watch the show on television and not online to save the daily soap from going off-air. Naamkarann is extremely popular amongst fans and this is a major jolt to fans! Apparently, the online viewership was gradually leading to the decline of ratings, which is not in favour of the channel and the makers. Naamkarann actor Zain REQUESTS fans to save the show from going OFF AIR But now makers have finally decided to pull the plug! According to reports the show is going off-air on May 18, 2018, co-incidentally the date also happens to be the birthday of the leading actor Zain Imam. The chemistry between the lead actors Zain Imam and Aditi Rathore was always loved by fans. The show is based on the 1998 film Zakhm, Naamkaran was a fictionalized account of Mahesh Bhatt’s childhood. The last date of the show going off air is said to be May 18. However the cast is yet to be informed about the final date of telecast. On a related note, buzz is that the channel is planning to revamp and many shows are likely to go off-air. Along with Naamkaran, a few other shows like Ishqbaaz and Ikyawann, too might go off air.
