PIC: 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' Actress Pooja Banerjee Hospitalised; Hubby Confirms Quitting 'Nach Baliye 9'!

Currently seen playing 'Nivedita Basu' in 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay', actress Pooja Banerjee will be hospitalized for at least a week.

Popular celebrity dance reality show 'Nach Baliye 9', produced by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, is getting interesting with each passing week. Last week, four couples - Avinash Sachdev-Palak Purswani, Pooja Banerjee-Sandeep Sejwal, Urvashi Dholakia-Anuj Sachdeva and Madhurima Tuli-Vishal Aditya Singh were introduced as wild card entries. The wild-card couple will be seen competing with other jodis from this week. There was a buzz that 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' actress Pooja Banerjee might quit the reality show after she suffered severe injury during rehearsals. Now, Sandeep Sejwal has confirmed the same.

Speaking about the same, Sandeep told an entertainment portal that, "In the act, Pooja had to stand on my shoulders and fall back, with our choreographer catching her. However, she slipped, lost her balance and fell in the front from above 10 feet from the ground. She landed on her hands. The impact was such that she hurt both her hands — the joint of her right wrist is fractured, while the left elbow bone is chipped. Pooja has also sprained a ligament in her left leg. She is in a cast and the doctors are waiting for the swelling to subside before they perform the surgery, which is scheduled to take place today. She will be hospitalised for at least a week." He further told TOI that, "Since the show is about couples, I don’t think we will be able to continue. So, we are opting out." Yes, Pooja Banerjee is hospitalised due to her injuries and a picture of the actress from the hospital is doing the rounds on Internet. In the picture, Pooja can be seen resting on the hospital bed. Pooja Banerjee's 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' co-star Parth Samthaan has posted the picture and has wished her 'speedy recovery'.
