After Quitting Choti Sarrdaarni, Avinesh Rekhi Bags His Next Show. Details Inside!

Choti Sarrdaarni fame Avinesh Rekhi is reportedly playing the role of a prince in his upcoming show.

Mumbai: Popular TV actor Avinesh Rekhi managed to win the hearts of the viewers with his power-packed performance in ‘Choti Sarrdaarni’. The show co-starring Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia enjoys a significant fan following across different age groups. Avinesh, who played the role of Sarabjit, quit the show after the makers introduced a generation leap to grab eyeballs. He reportedly didn't wish to play the role of a father to Nimrit, who was seen as his on-screen wife.

If a recent report in a leading daily is to be believed, Avinesh has already bagged his next project after bidding adieu to ‘Choti Sarrdaarni’. Yes, you read that right!

The ‘Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon’ actor will be playing the character of a prince in an upcoming romantic saga, a report in Times Of India said. The makers of the show have roped in Anjali Tatrari to play the female lead opposite Rekhi.

Anjali is fondly known for her role of Nia in Varun Badola and Shweta Tiwari starrer ‘Mere Dad Ki Dulhan’. She also essayed the lead role in ‘Sargam Ki Sade Satii’, which went off air due to low ratings.

The cast and crew have started the shoot for the soon-to-be launched show in Udaipur, the report added. The show is being produced by Anil Jha, Mohomed Morani and Mazhar Nadiadwala.

Title Of Avinesh Rekhi’s New Show Revealed

The upcoming show has been tentatively titled ‘Tere Bina Jeeya Jaaye Na’, the report in TOI said. A source close to the show told the daily that Rekhi has undergone a transformation for his role. He will sport a new hairdo in the show. Sounds interesting, isn’t it?

Avinesh Rekhi sported a turban for close to two years for his character in ‘Choti Sarrdaarni’. It will be refreshing to see him in a new avatar.
