Kubera Teaser: Dhanush, Nagarjuna, And Rashmika Mandanna Lead The Way In Gripping Thriller

The team behind the upcoming pan-India film 'Kubera', starring Dhanush and Nagarjuna Akkineni, has now unveiled the first official glimpse of the movie.

New Delhi: The makers of ‘Kubera’, an upcoming pan-Indian film starring Dhanush and Nagarjuna Akkineni, have finally unveiled the first look of the characters. In a newly released teaser, fans get a glimpse of the fascinating characters and what to expect. The lead actors of the film—Dhanush, Nagarjuna, Jim Sarbh, and Rashmika Mandanna—are introduced in the 52-second teaser.

The teaser of Sekhar Kammula’s 'Kubera' was launched on November 15 by Telugu actor Mahesh Babu over social media. The actor gave fans a sneak glimpse at the grim crime drama in a teaser he posted to his X account on Friday. 

He wrote,  “A blend of action, drama, and cinematography! All the very best…” 

About ‘Kubera’

In the teaser, Nagarjuna can be seen playing a well-off family member, while Dhanush plays an ordinary guy. Jim Sarbh plays a successful businessman, whereas Rashmika's character is unhappy with her middle-class existence and wants more.

The teaser ends with the most shocking scene when Dhanush's character's real identity is revealed. A rich guy in traditional garb emerges from the shadows of what seemed like a lowly slum dweller. With a delicate balance between introducing characters and giving them emotional depth, director Shekhar manages to keep the suspense alive without revealing too much.

A release date and the remaining cast members have not yet been disclosed. 

According to the reports, the upcoming thrilling socio-drama ‘Kubera’ explores questions of ethics, power, and ambition. The film is scheduled for a simultaneous release in Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam, in addition to its planned pan-India distribution in Telugu and Tamil.

Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao are the co-producers under the banners of Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd. Meanwhile, Devi Sri Prasad is the composer for the score in ‘Kubera’.
