Actor and Bigg Boss Kannada host Kichcha Sudeep's mother, Saroja Sanjeev, has passed away at the age of 86. According to India Today, she died on Sunday, October 20, following a period of hospitalisation in Bengaluru due to deteriorating health. Condolences have been pouring in for the actor and his family.

Kichcha Sudeepa's mother passes away

Sudeep's mother, Saroja, passed away around 7 a.m. at Apollo Hospital in Jayanagar, Bengaluru. She had been receiving treatment for health complications related to her age. Despite the medical team's efforts to stabilize her condition, she succumbed in the early hours of Sunday.

Karnataka’s Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar expressed his condolences to Sudeep on X (formerly Twitter). Sharing a picture of the actor with his mother, he wrote, “Was heartbroken to hear the news of actor Kichcha Sudeep’s mother Mrs. Saroja passing away. I pray that her soul rests in eternal peace, and may the Lord grant Sudeep and his family the strength to bear this loss. Om Shanti.”

Director Michael Arun, who is helming Sudeep’s upcoming movie 'Max', also expressed his sympathies on X, writing, "My deepest condolences to you and your family @KicchaSudeep Sir... Anyone who knows you understands how much you value family. In this time of grief, may God provide strength and shield you under His wings. Prayers... From the Direction team of #MaxTheMovie."

Kichcha Sudeepa's bond with his mother

Sudeep shared a deep bond with his mother, often posting pictures with her on social media for special occasions like Mother's Day or her birthday. In 2019, he posted a picture of her, expressing gratitude for her "unconditional love" and thanking her "for just about everything."

On her birthday in 2020, he penned an emotional message, saying, “You believed in me when I could see many giving up on me. I remember that happy feeling you'd have when I would win a prize and come back from school. I see the same happiness in you to this day, even for just a small post about me. Happy birthday, Amma… praying for many more years with us."
