Sacnilk.com reported that Amaran collected Rs. 21.21 cr net on Friday in the domestic market. The film's occupancy rate in Tamil Nadu is quite good. As per the same industry tracking site, 'Amaran' has collected Rs. 15 cr gross in its home state. As per analysts, 'Amaran' has done better than Vijay's 'GOAT' and Rajinikanth's 'Vettaiyan'.
