Tollywood actor Allu Arjun visited KIMS Hospital in Secunderabad on Tuesday to meet eight-year-old Sri Tej, who was injured in a stampede during the premiere show of 'Pushpa 2: The Rule at Sandhya' Theatre last month.
The actor, accompanied by Telangana State Film Development Corporation Chairman Dil Raju, spent approximately 30 minutes at the hospital. When he went to the hospital, Allu Arjun asked the doctors about Sri Tej's condition, met with the child's father and promised his support.
The actor had actually planned to go to the hospital on January 5 after being granted regular bail by a city court, which directed him to do so.

What took Allu Arjun so long to visit the hospital?
However, the visit was postponed after Ramgopalpet Police Station issued a notice advising him to reconsider, urging him to maintain confidentiality to prevent public or media gatherings that could disturb the hospital's environment.
The police also warned that Allu Arjun would be held responsible for any negative consequences of the visit.
The second police notice was dated January 6, with an appeal to observe secrecy to prevent chaos in public. The police helped facilitate the visit.
The episode for the visit took place on December 4 when a stampede at Pushpa 2 premiere show caused the death of a woman named Revathi and seriously injured her son Sri Tej.
The reported attendance of Allu Arjun without prior permission had caused the commotion. He was arrested on December 13, but the High Court granted him interim bail.
The Nampally Court released the actor on regular bail last week with a condition to cooperate with the investigation and report to the police station every Sunday.
Allu Arjun was condemned for not seeing the injured boy or offering sympathies to the family of the deceased at that time.
He, however, did visit the hospital twice, wherein on December 25, Allu Arvind visited the victim's family to donate Rs 2 crore in their name.
Allu Arjun himself donated Rs 1 crore, and Mythri Movies-the makers of the film-contributed Rs 50 lakh, and the director Sukumar also donated Rs 50 lakh to the family.
