New Delhi: Bollywood choreographer and director, Remo D’Souza was rushed to the hospital after suffering a heart attack on December 11, 2020. After being hospitalised for almost a week, Remo was finally discharged on December 18, 2020. The choreographer thanked all his well-wishers, friends and family members for their love and support during this difficult period on his social media. Lizelle shared a picture hugging her husband Remo and thanked everyone for their support. She wrote while sharing, “My best Christmas gift ever ever ever ....... this moment I’ll always cherish ..... hugging u after a week of the worst emotional ups and downs ..... I know acc to u am a superwoman but I suddenly felt like a small little child lost... only one thing I knew and trusted was ur promise to me that u will come out as a fighter and the lord above”.

Lizelle also thanked superstar Salman Khan for being ‘the biggest emotional support’. She also called the ‘Bigg Boss 14’ host an ‘angel’. She wrote, “I really from the bottom of my heart want to thank @beingsalmankhan for being the biggest emotional support u are an angel thank you so much bhai for always being there ..... thanks to all my friends and family for emotionally being there and thanks to people all over praying .....” Remo’s wife concluded by wishing everyone ‘Happy Holidays’. Her caption read, “@remodsouza I love u to the moon and back...... pls now u need to stop making me prove it to u time and again .... cmon let the joy of Christmas festivities begin........ Happy Holidays........” On the professional front, Remo D'Souza last directed the dance film 'Street Dancer 3D'. The movie, which starred Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles, released earlier this year. He has made a name for himself in the industry with his talent. Remo has choreographed hit numbers for films like ‘Kick’, ‘Zero’, ‘Bajirao Mastani’, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, and ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’, to name a few. Remo D'Souza has also featured as a judge in dance reality shows like ‘Dance India Dance’, ‘Dance Plus’ and ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’.
