Kareena Kapoor Khan posted a picture of Queen Elizabeth II on her Instagram story and captioned it with a love heart emoji.
New Delhi: This marks the end of a significant period. On Thursday, Queen Elizabeth II, who had been ill for some time, passes away at the age of 96. The official announcement said that "The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon," and the Twitter feed for the royal family verified this declaration.
Bollywood celebs have also conveyed their sympathies upon her passing away.
Kareena Kapoor Khan posted a picture of Queen Elizabeth II on her Instagram story and captioned it with a love heart emoji. Anushka Sharma also shared the same picture and wrote, “Rest in Grace".
Actress Shilpa Shetty has also sent her condolences. She shared a throwback photo of herself with Queen Elizabeth II with the caption, "What an incredibly inspiring journey your life has been! It was an honour to have been in such august company. REST IN PEACE QUEEN ELIZABETH II."
Meanwhile, Urvashi Rautela, Huma Qureshi and Neetu Kapoor also shared a throwback snapshot of the queen's younger self on their Instagram story.

Considering the Queen's health decline over the past year, Buckingham Palace announced on Thursday that she is being kept under medical observation at the palace. After receiving medical advice to rest, the Queen had previously postponed Wednesday's virtual meeting with the Privy Council.
