Akanksha Puri Slams Bigg Boss OTT 2 Makers For Their 'Double Standards', Publicising Her Kiss With Jad Hadid After Bashing Them
After being eliminated from Bigg Boss OTT 2, Akanksha Puri discussed her controversial kiss with Jad Hadid.
New Delhi: After being eliminated from Bigg Boss OTT 2, Akanksha Puri discussed her controversial kiss with Jad Hadid. The actor has criticised the production crew for using stills and teasers of the kiss to promote the show. If it was such a major deal, she claims Bigg Boss should have stopped them right away.
After the kiss episode, Akanksha was immediately evicted from the house while Jad Hadid is still inside. Salman Khan, the show's host, expressed his displeasure with the two sharing a kiss on screen and even warned to leave the celebrity reality show. Additionally, he also reprimanded Jad for calling Akanksha a "bad kisser" behind her back.
Days after her eviction, Akanksha talked about the infamous kiss with Jad Hadid and more about the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house in a live interview on EloElo app. She said, “30 second. Agar ye sach mein itni badi problem thi to Bigg Boss humein mic pe bahut si cheezein bolte they ki Hindi mein baat mat karo, mic theek se pahniye to ye bhi bol dete ki ‘task hai yahi pe rok dijiye’. To aisa to kuch nahi bola unhone. (if this was such a big problem then Bigg Boss should have said that 'this is a task, stop it now' since he used to ask us to not speak in Hindi or to wear the mic properly. He didn't say anything like that).”
She further added, "Bahar aake maine dekha Jio ke app pe ye teaser bane huye hain. Promote wahi horaha hai, uski thumbnail bana ke episode mein lage huye hain mera aur Jad ka kiss karte huye ki ‘hottest kiss ever’. Isiliye mujhe double standards samajh nahi aa rahe (After I came out, I saw the kiss was made into a teaser, this is what is being promoted. Thumbnails of the kiss have been put out as ‘hottest kiss ever’. I can't understand these double standards)."
A number of fans agreed with Akanksha and supported her, saying that the makers of the show as well as Salman Khan could have brought the task to an end if they did not like it.
Meanwhile, Akanksha Puri's infamous kiss with Jad Hadid on Bigg Boss OTT 2 has become one of the biggest highlights of the celebrity reality show.
