New Delhi: ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ is an upcoming movie starring Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani. The comedy-horror is a remake of the Tamil movie ‘Muni 2: Kanchana’ which witnesses the ‘BellBottom’ actor portraying the role of a transgender. The movie has been making waves and fans have been eagerly waiting for its trailer ever since the makers released the first motion poster last month. Well, the wait is finally over as ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ dropped its intriguing trailer today which sees Akshay Kumar in a never-seen-avatar before. The actor can be first be seen in a moustache who claims that if ever he witnesses a ghost, he will 'wear bangles'. However, soon after, the trailer sees Akshay Kumar wearing a saree and transforming himself into a woman wearing bangles. The trailer of the horror-comedy promises 'fun and fear' altogether. Helmed by the director of the original Tamil version Raghava Lawrence, the movie is all set for an OTT release on November 9, 2020. Ahead of its trailer release, the ‘Rustom’ actor took to his Instagram and shared a short teaser which features a bomb about to explode. The actor wrote while sharing the teaser, “Hassoge, darroge aur apne ghar valo ke sath milkar kal sab se bada dhamaka dekhoge! Earlier today, Akshay Kumar also posted a stunning picture with Kiara Advani. He captioned the picture as, “Waiting for the #LaxmmiBombTrailer just like @kiaraaliaadvani and me? Hang in there...just 3 hours to go. Trailer drops at 12.30 pm today! #YeDiwaliLaxmmiBombWali!”

Kiara Advani also shared the picture and wrote, “Jab tak chingari nahi lagegi toh bomb kaise phutega? Main aur @akshaykumar aa rahe hain #LaxmmiBombTrailer ke saath sirf 3 ghante mein, taiyyar rehna.”

Other than producing the film, actor Tusshar Kapoor will also be seen in a pivotal role in the movie. The film also stars Sharad Kelkar, Ashwini Kalsekar among others. ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ will premiere directly on Disney+ Hotstar on November 9, 2020, in Australia, New Zealand and UAE. The film was earlier scheduled for a theatrical release on May 22, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Watch the trailer here:
