Veteran B'wood Actress Vidya Sinha Hospitalized, Put On Ventilator

Veteran B'wood actress Vidya Sinha has been hospitalized in Mumbai. Her health is said to be critical.

New Delhi: Veteran Bollywood actress Vidya Sinha, who has been part of films like 'Rajnigandha' and 'Chhoti Si Baat', was rushed to Mumbai’s CritiCare hospital on Wednesday (August 7) in a serious condition. A report in an entertainment portal has suggested that she is in the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) on PAP (Positive airway Pressure) ventilator. While her pulse rate and blood pressure is normal at the moment, the yesteryear actress is currently in the ICU. Vidya Sinha’s condition is better than what it was two days back but she still cannot be said to be completely out of danger, sources told SpotboyE. The 71-year-old actress has developed lung and cardiac disorders. Vidya was diagnosed with a lung disorder few years back. The report said that ‘Safed Jhoot’ actress developed a cardiac disorder recently.

She was advised to undergo sonography but her relatives, who are attending her were not too keen for the same, a source told the portal.
Vidya Sinha has featured in films like 'Pati Patni Aur Woh', 'Inkaar' and 'Saboot'. Her last Bollywood film was Salman Khan starrer 'Bodyguard'. The talented actress has also acted in TV shows like 'Qubool Hai', 'Ishq Ka Rang Safed' and 'Haar Jeet'. She was last seen on Mohit Malik and Aakriti Sharma's 'Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala'.
