The couple has been dating for quite a long time now and Natasha is Varun’s childhood friend. Earlier this year, Varun and Natasha made their relationship official and the ‘Coolie No 1’ actor revealed that he is planning to marry his childhood sweetheart.
When quizzed on the topic of marriage, Varun said that, “See, marriage, coming into this time period when you have been with someone for so long… I felt like getting married after I saw my brother and bhabhi and when I saw my niece Niara, I was like, this is good.”
Dhawan also revealed that he would have preferred a live-in relationship, but it is his family which wants him to get married to Natasha.
He also said that Natasha’s side of family is cool with that, but after spending a good time with someone you finally decide that you want to live with each other. We both would not have any objection from a live-in relationship, but my parents wanted us, he said.
Varun’s latest flick Coolie No.1, which releases on Christmas, is directed by David Dhawan. The film also stars Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav and Johnny Lever.
