Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar Box Office Collection Day 7: Ranbir Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor Starrer Mints Over Rs 80 Crore

'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar' is thriving at the box office because to the attention it is receiving.

New Delhi: 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar', starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, is thriving at the box office because to the attention it is receiving. The romantic comedy earned Rs 80 crore in India just seven days in theatres, and by the end of this week, it's expected to join the Rs 100 crore club. Although the movie's box office performance took a significant hit on Monday, it has remained consistent.

The Ranbir Kapoor-starring film got off to a strong start at the box office in India by earning over Rs 70 crore. Early estimates indicated that the movie made Rs 6 crore nett on its seventh day in theatres in India. This brings the overall revenue in India to Rs 82.34 crore.

Film critic and trade analyst shared the recent number on Twiter and wrote,” #TuJhoothiMainMakkaar remains strong… The core markets [#Mumbai, #Delhi, #NCR, #Bengaluru] continue to hold at steady levels… Wed 15.73 cr, Thu 10.34 cr, Fri 10.52 cr, Sat 16.57 cr, Sun 17.08 cr, Mon 6.05 cr, Tue 6.02 cr. Total: ₹ 82.31 cr. #India biz. #TJMM.”

The review of the film on ABP Live reads: "In the Luv Ranjan portfolio of films, 'Tu Jhooti Main Makkar' has definitely progressed  leaps and bounds from the obvious misogyny template to a more refined,modern aesthetic of it. Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead, 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar' is your modern take on relationships which tackle Mumma's/Dadis boys, independent career-oriented women who would choose to work after marriage, etc. etc."

Besides Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar' also stars Anubhav Singh Bassi, Dimple Kapadia, and Boney Kapoor.
