‘Thugs of Hindostan’: Meet the RUTHLESS villain of the film- John Clive (VIDEO INSIDE)

After introducing the ‘thugs’ of ‘Thugs of Hindostan’, Amitabh Bachchan as Khudabaksh and Fatima Sana Shaikh as Zafira, the makers of the film have now introduced the villain of the epic drama- John Clive played by British actor Lloyd Owen. In the motion poster, the character can be seen leading the British Army and ordering them to fire. John Clive comes across as ruthless and his piercing eyes command authority. His look was completed with a pair of knee-high boots and a moustache. Aamir Khan shared the motion poster on Twitter with the caption, ‘’ John Clive..not to be confused with Robert Clive..as you can see he is one of the most gentle and kind souls. Loving, caring non violent, and generous. My idol! #JohnClive #ThugsOfHindostan.’’ And it’s quite obvious John Clive is not all loving or generous. We believe, the gang of thugs- Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan and Fatima Sana Shaikh will have a tough time dealing with John Clive. Check out the motion poster right here! Talking about Llyod Owen, he has played the role of Indiana Jones’ dad in the TV show Young Indiana Jones: Travels with Father. The actor has often claimed in his interviews that theatre is his first love. The makers had earlier unveiled the first looks of Amitabh Bachchan and Fatima Sana Shaikh’s characters in the film, creating anticipation among the movie buffs. Yash Raj Films have set a benchmark with the motion posters and now all eyes are on the looks of Katrina and Aamir’s character in the movie. ‘Thugs of Hindostan’, which is touted to be this year’s big Diwali release, is based on Philip Meadows Taylor’s novel ‘Confessions of a Thug’. The Vijay Krishna Acharaya directorial will hit the silver screens on November 8. Watch this space for more updates!
