Kangana Ranaut Hosts Special Screening Of ‘Thalaivii’ For Parliamentarians And Ministers In Delhi

Ahead of its release, the team of ‘Thalaivii’ hosted a special screening of the Kangana Ranaut starter movie for the parliamentarians and ministers in Delhi.

New Delhi: The much-awaited biopic on former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa 'Thalaivii', is all set to hit the big screens this Friday (September 10, 2021). After facing a number of controversies, this Kangana Ranaut starrer movie will now release in theatres.

Ahead of its release, the team of ‘Thalaivii’ hosted a special screening of the movie for the parliamentarians and ministers in Delhi. Kangana Ranaut, who portrays the role of Jaya Amma in this movie, posted some stunning pictures of herself as she is all set to attend the special screening of her film.

Sharing the post, the ‘Tejas’ actress penned down a note on her Instagram. The caption for the post read, “All ready for Parliamentarians and Ministers screening in Delhi …..Rarely we celebrate our politicians and very few films on politics and politicians are made, one such rare film is Thalaivii based on former chief minister of Tamilnadu Dr.J.Jayalalithaa…. Honoured to be hosting a screening for prominent politicians today”.

In another post, she thanked everyone for showering their love for ‘Thalaivii’ and wrote, “Thank you for showering overwhelming love, admiration and support for #Thalaivii Means a lot to us….”

Directed by AL Vijay, ‘Thalaivii’ tells the life story of popular actor and politician J Jayalalithaa, where Kangana will portray the lead role and Arvind Swamy will play the role of the late former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MG Ramachandran. Apart from these two brilliant actors, Nassar will be seen as M Karunanidhi, Bhagyashree as Sandhya, Samuthirakani as RM Veerappan, Madhu Bala as VN Janaki Ramachandran and Poorna as VK Sasikala.
