Sumeet Vyas to JOIN Kangana Ranaut in Ashwini Iyer’s Kabbadi film?

New Delhi:  Sumeet Vyas, who was recently seen in Sonam Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor starrer Veere Di Wedding, is riding high on the success of the female buddy drama film. The ‘English Winglish’ actor is a popular name in the web space, all thanks to his stint in TVF’s ‘Permanent Roomates’. Vyas has made the filmmakers notice his talent with his performance in VDW and grapevines are now buzzing with the news that he has bagged his next big project opposite Kangana Ranaut. Sumeet Vyas has been appraoched by Ashwini Iyer Tiwari's for her next film starring Kangana Ranaut, as per the latest buzz.  The Bareilly Ki Barfi director will helm the sports drama said to be based on the national level kabbadi championships. A report in a leading daily suggested that the Mental Hai Kya actress will undergo a grueling 15 days workshop so as to learn the specific holds and moves for her role. Sumeet Vyas has been approached to play one of the Kabbadi players in the film, reported DNA. Although details about his role are about to be revealed, sources told the daily that the actor would start shooting from October this year.

Meanwhile, Sumeet Vyas will soon be seen in the second season of the popular web series- ‘It’s Not That Simple’. The series also features his VDW co-star Swara Bhaskar and Purab Kohli. Sumeet and Swara are also part of a horror flick titled Aapke Kamre Main Koi Rehta Hai.’ On the personal front, the actor is in a steady relationship with ‘Mere Ange Mein’ fame actress Ekta Kaul. The two lovebirds are said to be tying the knot soon in Jammu. Watch this space for more updates!
