'Suicide Or Murder': THIS Actress To Play Rhea Chakraborty's Role In Film Inspired By Sushant Singh Rajput's Case

The makers of 'Suicide or Murder', a film inspired by Sushant Singh Rajput's death, have unveiled a new poster on Friday (August 7). They have also revealed the name of the actress, who will play the female lead.

New Delhi: Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty made her first public appearance on Friday (August 7) after late Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh registered an FIR against her in Patna. She arrived at the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office in Mumbai to record her statement in connection with the money laundering case against her based on the FIR filed by the ‘Raabta’ actor’s father. While the ED officials interrogated Rhea Chakraborty, the makers of ‘Suicide or Murder’ released a new poster on social media. The film is inspired by Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. ABP News has received exclusive information about the actress, who will play the female lead in the upcoming film. Model and actress Shwetta Parashar will be seen in a role inspired by Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty in ‘Suicide or Murder’. Shwetta has earlier worked in a Telugu film titled ‘Paradhya’, which will soon premiere directly on an OTT platform. ‘Suicide or Murder’ will be Shwetta’s first Hindi film. Shwetta, while exclusively talking to ABP News, said that she gave her consent to the film because she was in touch with Sushant through common friends till 2016. She also said that she met the ‘Dil Bechara’ actor several times.

“Before working in films, I worked with Gulzar and Salim Arif in few plays. Before making it big in TV and films, Sushant had his formal training in theatre. So, I came to know him from common friends. I used to meet him till 2016,” Shwetta told ABP News. “I want the film to reveal the ‘dark truth’ about Sushant’s death, prevailing nepotism and favoritism in the industry to the public. Hence, I decided to play the character based on Rhea Chakraborty,” she added. Producer Vijay Shekhar Gupta had announced the film four days after Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely demise. The first poster of the movie was unveiled on June 20. ABP News had earlier informed you that Sushant’s look-alike Sachin Tiwari would play the lead role in ‘Suicide or Murder’.

Talking about Sushant, Tiwari said, “I met him several times. He was a humble and happy-go-lucky person. It is difficult for me to believe that he committed suicide.”
