Subramanian Swamy's Advocate Writes Letter To Police To ‘Seal’ And ‘Preserve’ Sushant Singh Rajput’s House

Subramanian Swamy appointed advocate Ishkaran Singh to look into Sushant Singh Rajput’s death ensuring CBI enquiry of the case.

New Delhi: Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in his Mumbai apartment on June 14 2020. Based on reports, it is believed that the actor was suffering from depression which led him to take this drastic step. The Mumbai Police has been investigating his death actively and so far, 30 people who are related to the actor have been interrogated. Regardless of the police investigation, many sections of people have been insisting for CBI investigation into the matter as they feel that the actor couldn’t have committed suicide. Hashtags like #WhyDelayInCBIForSSR, #PMModiCBIForSSR, #CBIMustForSushant, #CBIForSonOfBihar have been trending almost every other day on Twitter. In the wake of all these, BJP MP Subramanian Swamy has appointed a popular lawyer Ishkaran Singh Bhandari to find out a possible way for CBI enquiry of the death. Recently, the advocate Ishkaran Singh has written a letter to Mumbai Police to ‘seal’ and ‘preserve’ the ‘Dil Bechara’ actor’s house till their investigation winds up. Also READ| Sushant Singh Rajput Death: Subramanian Swamy Backs CBI Probe; His Advocate Writes To Mumbai Police Asking For Electronic Data Of People Linked To The Case He wrote, “I need to bring to your attention the need to preserve and seal the crime scene as there are certain media reports that mention and are going viral on social media that say that the flat has not been sealed and in spite of the viral and information being spread Mumbai Police has not released any authoritative statement to that effect that the flat has been strictly sealed, kept out of bounds so that there is no manipulation which is leading to the misinformation and anxiety among the public. As public at large is equally interested injustice in this case." The advocate also felt that lots of people had lost hope of the actor being served justice and that is when he decided to take the matter into his hands ensuring justice of the departed soul. He tweeted, “Lot of people had lost all hope for Justice for Sushant Singh Rajput. That’s when I decided & said will legally take up the case and ensure CBI investigation will be done. Now positive developments happening, it’s still a long road ahead but Justice shall prevail.”
Many prominent names from the industry including Shekhar Suman and Roopa Ganguly have been raising their voice for probing CBI investigation of Sushant Singh Rajput. Recently Rhea Chakraborty, the actor’s girlfriend also took to her social media and requested Amit Shah for a CBI scrutiny.
