'Student of the Year 2' to now hit the silver screens on THIS date
Karan Johar’s ‘Student of the Year 2’, which stars Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria, has got a new release date. The romantic comedy drama was slated to hit the silver screens on November 23 but has been pushed by six months. KJo took to Twitter to announce SOTY 2 new release date. The much-awaited film will now arrive at the cinema theaters on May 10, 2019.
Karan, who is producing the second installment of ‘Student of the Year’, shared a poster with the caption, ‘’Summer 2019!!!! 10.05.2019 !! 10th MAY 2019! Summer gets hotter!!!’’
The filmmaker, who directed SOTY, has passed his baton to Punit Malhotra for the sequel. Mahotra has previoulsy directed ‘I Hate Luv Stories’ and ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’.
The cast and crew of ‘Student of the Year 2’ have shot for their first schedule in Dehradun and Mussoorie. The team has commenced shooting for the second schedule in Pune. SOTY 2 will mark the Bollywood debut of Chunky Panday’s daughter Ananya and Tara Sutaria. SOTY proved to be the perfect launching pad for Ali Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan and now all eyes are on the second installment.
