‘Sooryavanshi’ Day 2 Box Office Collection: Akshay Kumar-Katrina Kaif’s Film Brings Back Hope For Theatres

New Delhi: Akshay Kumar-Katrina Kaif’s ‘Sooryavanshi’ released on the big screens on November 5, 2021, on the occasion of Diwali. The movie seems to have revived the theatres with its big opening thereby emerging as the highest opening movie of this year. On its first day, ‘Sooryavanshi’ collected over Rs 25 crores despite theatres having 50 per cent occupancy.
Now, according to a report of Taran Adarsh, the second day collection of this Rohit Shetty directorial film has minted over Rs 50 crore and is expected to hit the Rs 75 crore mark during its third day of running in theatres.
A report of Taran Adarsh read, “#Sooryavanshi crosses ₹ 50 cr… SUPER-STRONG HOLD on Day 2… Slight dip in night shows vis-à-vis Day 1… Expect a BIGGG SCORE on Day 3, should comfortably cross ₹ 75 cr, may even touch ₹ 80 cr [+/-], PHENOMENAL… Fri 26.29 cr, Sat 23.85 cr. Total: ₹ 50.14 cr. #India biz.”
Meanwhile, the makers of ‘Sooryavanshi’ released a new song from the movie yesterday – Tip Tip. This song is the rendition of Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon’s iconic song ‘Tip Tip Barsa Pani’ from the movie ‘Mohra’.
Soon after the makers released the new song featuring Katrina and Akshay, ‘Tip Tip’ has reached 22 million views on YouTube in just a day.
