Shahid Kapoor, last seen in 'Kabir Singh', praised PM Narendra Modi's speech while Arjun Rampal lauded him for providing the financial package worth Rs 20 lakh crore

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on Tuesday (May 12) over the Coronavirus lockdown situation in India. PM Modi talked about how the COVID-19 pandemic has severely affected the functioning of many countries. He laid emphasis on the fact that it’s important to keep fighting against the deadly virus. PM Narendra Modi announced a special economic package worth Rs 20 lakh crore under 'Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan'. He said that it is the time to make India self-reliant in every way. He also talked about new infrastructure and systems for a quantum leap of growth while addressing the people. Putting an end to the speculations, Modi said that lockdown 4.0 will commence from May 18. He added that  fourth edition of lockdown will have new rules and people will be informed about it before May 18. He also made a fervent appeal and requested the people to endorse local products. Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor took to Twitter to praise Narendra Modi for his speech. He tweeted, “Very powerful and inspiring speech by Shri Narendra Modi ji @PMOIndia #golocal.”
