Shah Rukh Khan & Daughter Suhana Khan To Work Together In 'King', Film To Be Made On Rs 200 Crore Budget
Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly planning to share the screen with Suhana Khan in a high-budget film 'King'.
New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan is set to make a grand comeback with his upcoming film 'King,' directed by the acclaimed Sujoy Ghosh. What makes this project even more special is the debut of his daughter, Suhana Khan, marking her entry into the world of cinema. Currently in the pre-production phase, the film has a reported budget of Rs. 200 crores.
According to an insider close to Bollywood Hungama, the film ‘King’ is set to be an action blockbuster. The source said, “King is an ambitious action film, unlike anyone’s imagination. The team has been working on the pre-production for the last one year to ensure that all aspects are covered in the right way – from script, to scale and action. Red Chillies Entertainment has always mounted world-class products and King will be no different as the banner is going all out to ensure a grand debut for Suhana Khan.”
Sujoy Ghosh, renowned for his thrillers like 'Kahaani' and 'Badla,' will be at the helm, while the action sequences will be crafted by none other than Siddharth Anand, the director of SRK's last film 'Pathaan.'
The source added, “Siddharth Anand thinks internationally, and with SRK, he wants to make a global action thriller. He is designing stunts with the stunt experts from the West, and plans to shoot it as a hybrid of real action and VFX enhancements.”

While initial reports pegged the budget at Rs. 200 crores, sources hint that the actual budget could surpass this figure.
Scheduled to commence filming later this year in May, the film aims for a 2025 release date.
