Satte Pe Satta REMAKE: NOT Deepika Or Katrina, Anushka Sharma To STAR Opposite Hrithik Roshan?
Anushka Sharma has been approached for the remake of Satte Pe Satta, which will reportedly star Hrithik Roshan in lead role.
New Delhi: Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, who delivered the hit ‘Super 30’, is all set to team up with Farah Khan and Rohit Shetty for the remake of ‘Satte Pe Satta’. Although, the makers are yet to officially amake an announcement, is being said that Hrithik will step into the shoes of Amitabh Bachchan for the film. Speculations were rife that Deepika Padukone would reprise the role played by Hema Malini in the original film.
However, a report in an entertainment portal suggested that Katrina Kaif would play the female lead in ‘Satte Pe Satta’ remake. It was said that the ‘Bharat’ actress is quite excited to play the interesting role.
As per the latest buzz, the makers have approached another top actress for the film. We are talking about Anushka Sharma.
A report in a leading daily said that Anushka has been approached for the remake of ‘Satte Pe Satta’ but she is yet to give her nod to the film. “Anushka has been approached. But in the meantime, the makers are waiting for a response from Hrithik Roshan as well. Anushka, who was last seen as Aafia Yusufzai Bhinder in the film Zero, has not yet given a nod to the film and will wait for the makers to make the final offer once everything is in place,” a source told Asian Age. The remake of ‘Satta Pe Satta’ will be directed by Farah Khan while Rohit Shetty will produce the film.
