Satte Pe Satta REMAKE: NOT Deepika Padukone But Katrina Kaif To Play The LEADING LADY Opposite Hrithik Roshan?

Katrina Kaif and Hrithik Roshan will once again re-unite for the remake of Satte Pe Satta.

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan is currently basking in the success of his recent release ‘Super 30’. The film, which has been directed by Vikas Bahl, is doing quite well at the box office. Hrithik has signed the remake of ‘Satte Pe Satta’, which originally featured Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini in lead roles. Interestingly, the ‘Kaabil’ actor had earlier stepped into the shoes of Big B for ‘Agneepath’. ‘’Who will play the female lead in ‘Satte Pe Satta’ remake?’’- was the question on everyone’s mind. It was initially speculated that Deepika Padukone would play the leading lady opposite Hrithik Roshan. As per the latest buzz, the makers of the film have roped in a popular Bollywood actress for ‘Satte Pe Satta’ remake. We are talking about Katrina Kaif.

A report in an entertainment portal has suggested that the makers though Katrina would fit the bill completely. “Yes, the makers were considering many top A-list actresses for the role. Considering that it was Hrithik Roshan and also owing to the fact that they needed to fill in the shoes of Hema Maliniji, the makers had a tough choice to make. But eventually they thought Katrina would fit the bill. In fact, Katrina is quite honoured at the opportunity and she is also excited to play this interesting role,” a source told Bollywood Hungama. It will be hattrick for Hrithik and Katrina as the duo has previously worked in ‘Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara’ and ‘Bang Bang’. Both the film did a decent job at the box office. The remake of ‘Satta Pe Satta’ will be directed by Farah Khan while Rohit Shetty will produce the film.
