Mark Your Calendars! 'Bhoot Police' To Premiere On Disney+Hotstar VIP On THIS Date
'Bhoot Police' stars Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Yami Gautam and Jacqueline Fernandez in lead roles.
Mumbai: The wait is finally over! The makers of 'Bhoot Police' have revealed the release date of the film. The horror comedy starring Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Yami Gautam and Jacqueline Fernandez will premiere directly on Disney+Hotstar VIP on September 17, 2021. The upcoming film will skip the theatrical route and release on an OTT platform.
Arjun Kapoor shared a new poster of ‘Bhoot Police’ and informed the fans about the release date of his film. The ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ star, who is playing the role of Chiraunji, wrote, “Ab baari hai bhooton ke darne ki! #BhootPolice arriving this 17th September on @disneyplushotstarvip.”
‘Bhoot Police’ Cast
While Saif Ali Khan is playing the role of Vibhooti, Yami Gautam will be seen as Maya. Jacqueline Fernandez is essaying the character of Kanika. The movie also stars Javed Jaffrey in a key role. The makers shot the film in Dharmshala in November 2020.
The lead stars of 'Bhoot Police' are working together for the first time in their career.
Ramesh Taurani and Akshai Puri have produced ‘Bhoot Police’ while Pavan Kirpalani has helmed the film.
Films Which Are Releasing On OTT
The likes of ‘Toofan’, ‘Hungama 2’, ‘Bhuj: The Pride Of India’ will premiere directly on leading OTT platforms. While Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt starrer ‘Bhuj: The Pride Of India’ will release during Independence Day 2021 weekend, Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Toofan’ will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video from July 21.
Vidya Balan's 'Sherni' and Taapsee Pannu starrer 'Haseen Dillruba' have released on streaming platforms in recent times.

The Trend Of Horror Comedy
Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor starrer 'Roohi', which released in March 11, 2021, received a mixed response from the critics and audience. The film performed decently amid the COVID-19 crisis.
Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani are all set to bring 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' in November 2021 to entertain the audience.
