Riddhima Kapoor’s Husband Shares HEARTFELT Post To Say ‘Goodbye’ To Rishi Kapoor As Ranbir Immerses His Ashes In Banganga
Bharat Sahni posted an emotional note on his Instagram story to bid adieu to his father-in-law.
New Delhi: The sudden demise of veteran actor Rishi Kapoor has left the film fraternity and fans in a state of shock. The ‘Bobby’ actor passed away at Mumbai’s HN Reliance hospital after a two-year long battle with leukemia. The actor, last seen in ‘The Body’, was laid to rest at Chandanwadi crematorium in on April 30. Neetu Singh and Ranbir Kapoor hosted a prayer meet for the late actor at their residence on Sunday.
After hosting the prayer meet, Ranbir immersed his father’s ashes and performed a puja for the ‘Mulk’ actor in Banganga. The ‘Sanju’ star was joined by Alia Bhatt, sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, mother Neetu Kapoor and best friend Ayan Mukerji.

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni’s husband and Rishi Kapoor’s son-in-law Bharat Sahni posted a heartfelt message for his father-in-law after the immersion ritual.
Bharat shared a photo of Banganga on his Instagram story along with the caption, “I consider myself lucky to have something that makes it difficult to say goodbye. Thank u for the memories.”

Bharat had earlier posted an emotional note for Rishi Kapoot after his demise. He wrote,"Will never forget the love you gave me. You’ve taught me so much in the little time I had with you. Simply broken today. Lost for words. Love you and will miss you a lot. R.I.P. Papa."

Riddhima Kapoor couldn’t attend Rishi Kapoor’s funeral due to the Coronavirus lockdown. She travelled from Delhi to Mumbai via road to extend support to her mother Neetu amid the tough times.

Earlier in the day,Neetu Kapoor thanked the medical staff at HN Reliance hospital for taking proper care of Rishi Kapoor.
She wrote, "As a family we have a deep sense of loss.. when we sit together and look back at the past few months what we also feel is immense gratitude - gratitude towards the doctors at HN reliance hospital!
The whole team of doctors, brothers and nurses headed by Dr Tarang Gianchandani treated my husband like he was their own - they advised us like we were their own.. and for all that and more I thank them from the bottom of my heart."
