Watch: Ranbir Kapoor Immerses Rishi Kapoor’s Ashes & Performs Puja With Mom Neetu & Sister Riddhima At Banganga , Alia Bhatt, Ayan Mukerji Joins The Family!
A prayer meeting was held on Sunday for actor Rishi Kapoor, who passed away earlier this week after battling leukemia.
After hosting a small prayer meet for his late father Rishi Kapoor at his residence with mom, actor Ranbir Kapoor immersed his late father’s ashes and performed a puja for him at Banganga in Mumbai.Dressed in white, Ranbir was joined by mom Neetu and sister Riddhima along with girlfriend Alia Bhatt and director Ayan Mukerji. In the videos, we see Ranbir performing puja at Banganga ghat (Banganga is part of the Walkeshwar Temple Complex in Malabar Hill area of Mumbai). Rishi’s brother Randhir Kapoor while taking to TOI said, “Rasam pagri puja was held yesterday. His ashes were immersed today in Banganga, Mumbai, followed by a quiet prayer service with family at his home because of the virus.” Talking about the prayer meet, a picture from the same is going viral on the internet in which Rishi Kapoor's wife Neetu Kapoor and son Ranbir Kapoor are seen sitting next to the former's photograph.
