Animal Pre-Teaser Out: Ranbir Kapoor Shows Up In Axe-Wielding, Blood Thirsty Avatar

Ranbir was seen in action in the 50-second clip as he killed many people while fighting with an axe.

New Delhi: The pre-teaser for Ranbir Kapoor's forthcoming action thriller 'Animal' was released by the movie's makers on Sunday. Ranbir was seen in action in the 50-second clip as he killed many people while fighting with an axe. 

The teaser opened with several people wearing similar attire, including ties, black waistcoats, and white shirts. Ranbir had long hair and facial scars in the 'Animal' pre-teaser. A group of men in masks are waiting for Ranbir as he enters carrying an axe. We only get a brief glimpse of his face, and he is wearing a white kurta and dhoti. An upbeat Punjabi song can be heard playing in the background as Ranbir tackles the men by himself. He gave the camera a serious gaze for a split second.

Taking to Twitter, film trade analyst and critic Taran Adarsh posted the teaser. "Ranbir Kapoor: Animal pre-teaser is here… Will keep it short and simple, after watching the first glimpse of #Animal: A storm is coming… And #RanbirKapoor’s look is (fire emojis). The makers of 'Animal' previously unveiled a poster of Ranbir Kapoor. He was seen smoking a cigarette and carrying an axe under his arm as blood trickled down his shoulder. According to reports, the actor will be playing a gangster in the film. 

The movie, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Ranbir in major roles. It is scheduled for release in theatres on August 11.
