Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt won’t endorse brands together; Is Karan Johar the reason?

Bollywood’s new ‘IT’ couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, who will be seen together in Brahmastra, have been making waves with their relationship. Right from their appearance at Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja’s wedding reception to their recent dinner date with Ranbir’s family, the two lovebirds have turned several heads. Grapevines have been buzzing with the rumours that the a popular brand approached the actors for a commercial but they didn’t accept the offer . Interestingly, it was Karan Johar who asked the two stars to not take up a brand endorsement project right now, a report in a leading daily suggested. KJo advised Alia and Ranbir to decline the commercial offer as he doesn’t wish to expose their chemistry before Brahmastra releases. “Karan knows when to use Brahmastra. The film will release on Independence Day next year and there is a lot of time till then. It doesn’t make sense for these two actors to expose their chemistry so soon. If they endorse a brand together during Brahmastra, it will also help the film,’’ a source told Deccan Chronicle. The two star kids have not only become one of the most sought after jodis on the silver screen but also for the advertising world, isn’t it?
