Rakesh Roshan diagnosed with cancer; Tiger Shroff, Sussanne Khan & other Bollywood celebs wish him speedy recovery

New Delhi: After Sonali Bendre and Ayushmann Khurrana’s wife Tahir Kashyap, another Bollywood celebrity has been detected with cancer. Hrithik Roshan took to Instagram to inform everyone that his father Rakesh Roshan been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma a few weeks ago. The ‘Kaho Na Pyaar Hai’ filmmaker is suffering from first stage of throat cancer and will undergo surgery on Tuesday (January 8). Hrithik wrote a heartfelt post for his father and shared a picture with him from the gym. “Asked my dad for a picture this morning. Knew he wouldnt miss gym on surgery day. He is probably the strongest man I know. Got diagnosed with early stage squamous cell carcinoma of the throat a few weeks ago, but he is in full spirits today as he proceeds to battle it. As a family we are fortunate and blessed to have a leader like him. Love Dad,’’ the ‘Super 30’ actor’s post read.

As soon as Hrithik shared the picture on Instagram, fans flooded the comments section with their well wishes for Rakesh Roshan. Several tinsel town celebs also commented on the post and wished Rakesh a speedy recovery.
