New Delhi: Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao, who will be seen in a different avatar in Anubhav Sinha's 'Bheed', has wrapped up the shoot of his new film. The 'Stree' actor took to social media to share a post to inform his followers that he has completed the shoot of 'Bheed'. 

Rao shared his experience of working with Anubhav Sinha, calling him a ‘genius’ filmmaker. He wrote, “And it’s a Wrap #BHEED. Can’t express in words how amazing I felt working with you my dearest @anubhavsinhaa sir. You’re a gem of a person and a genius filmmaker.”

The 'Made In China' star can be seen smiling while hugging the filmmaker in the photo. Huma Qureshi, Patralekhaa, Sayani Gupta, Abhishek Banerjee and other tinsel town celebs dropped comments on the post.  

Rajkummar To Star Opposite Bhumi Pednekar In Bheed

The National Film Award-winning artist will be seen opposite Bhumi in the social drama. Rao and Pednekar will also romance each other in 'Badhaai Do', which is the sequel to Ayushmann Khurrana starrer 'Badhaai Ho'. 

'Bheed' has been jointly produced by T-Series and Anubhav Sinha's Benaras Mediaworks. The makers are yet to announce a release date.

Last month, Rajkummar tied the knot with Patralekhaa in an intimate ceremony in the presence of their family members and close friends. The two lovebirds got hitched after dating each other for over a decade.

Rajkummar Rao's Upcoming Films

On the professional front, Rao was last seen in 'Hum Do Hamare Do', which premiered on a leading OTT platform. He shared screen-space with Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal and Ratna Pathak Shah in the comedy drama.

Rajkummar has several exciting projects in his kitty including 'Monica, O My Darling', 'Badhaai Do' and 'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi'.
