Raj Kundra Pornography Case: Shilpa Shetty Broke Down Several Times During Mumbai Police's Interrogation

Mumbai Police officials questioned Shilpa Shetty on Friday (July 23) as part of their investigation in the alleged pornography case.

Mumbai: The Crime Branch Cell of Mumbai Police recorded Shilpa Shetty’s statement in an alleged pornography case in which her husband Raj Kundra was arrested. A team of Mumbai Police officials arrived at Shilpa-Raj's house and questioned the ‘Dhadkan’ actress for over two-and-a-half hours as part of their investigation in the case. 

According to Crime Branch sources, Shilpa broke down three-four times during the interrogation. The cops questioned her if she knew about Raj Kundra’s involvement in the alleged adult films racket case.

Shilpa denied her involvement in Viaan Industries, claiming she was unaware about the exact content of HotShots. She said that erotica is different for porn and claimed that Raj Kundra was not involved in producing pornographic content.

A report in IANS suggested that the 'Life In A Metro' actress named Pradeep Bakshi (Raj Kundra's brother-in-law) for running the functioning of HotShots and its operations.

Here's the list of questions which were asked during the interrogation

• Do you know about Hotshot and who runs it?
• Viaan's office was used to send and upload porn videos to London. Do you know about it?
• Why did you leave the company Viaan in 2020 when you had significant shares in it?
• What do you know about HotShots' video content?
• Do you know about the transaction between Viaan and Cameron?
• Have you ever been involved in any work related to HotShots?
• Do you know everything Raj Kundra's work and businesses?
• Did you ever talk to Pradeep Bakshi (Raj Kundra's brother-in-law) about HotShots?

The police officers also showed WhatsApp chats of the arrested people in the case to Shilpa and asked her about the same. The Crime Branch seized some electronic items from her house and maintained that they quizzed the actress as she was the director of Viaan Industries till 2020. 

On the professional front, Shilpa made her comeback to films with 'Hungama 2'. Ahead of the release of the comedy drama on July 23, she shared a post on social media, requesting the fans to watch her movie and 'not let it suffer' after her husband's arrest.

'Hungama 2' is available for streaming on Disney+Hotstar.
