Pornography Case: ED Likely To Register Case Against Raj Kundra Under FEMA – Sources
According to sources, the ED will supposedly register a case against Raj Kundra under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA).
Mumbai: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is likely to register a case against businessman Raj Kundra, reveal sources. The sources further disclosed that the director of the company might also be interrogated by the ED in this case related to the alleged production of pornographic content. Also, if any role of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty pops out in this case, sources reveal that she might also be interrogated by the ED. Reportedly, the ‘Hungama 2’ actress has been the director of Viaan Industries till 2020.
The sources also disclosed that the team of ED will request for the FIR from the Mumbai Police lodged in this case and study it. The team of ED might issue a summon against Raj Kundra under FEMA.
Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra has been arrested in a case related to the alleged production of pornography. The businessman was arrested by the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police on July 19 and will be under police custody till July 27. Mumbai Police also searched Shilpa and Raj’s residence on Friday and seized some electronic devices reportedly. Shilpa Shetty Kundra has also been questioned in relation to her husband’s case. She reportedly told the investigating team that the videos ‘the videos on HotShots are not porn, but erotic content’. The actress further added that ‘there are many contents like this on other OTT platforms which are way more obscene’.
Meanwhile, the Mumbai Police has reportedly said that they did not find any direct link of Shilpa Shetty Kundra in this ongoing case.
