New Delhi: Actor R Madhavan is beaming with pride after seeing his son Vedaant Madhavan win five gold medals in swimming at the Malaysian Invitational Age Group Championships. The actor shared a photo of his son on Instagram along with a sweet note expressing his delight and joy.
"With God's grace and all your good wishes, Vedaant gets 5 golds for India (50 m, 100m, 200m, 400 m, and 1500m) with 2 PB's at the Malaysian invitational age group championships, 2023, held this weekend in Kuala Lumpur. I am elated and very grateful," he wrote on Twitter.

Vedaant has a history of dominating competitions; he has a recent winning streak and has taken home numerous medals in prestigious tournaments. He earned three gold medals (100m, 200m, and 150m) and two silver medals (400m and 800m) at the Khelo India 2023 competition in February of this year while competing for Team Maharashtra.
Vedaant won the 1500-meter freestyle swimming race at the 48th Junior National Aquatic Championships in July of last year, shattering the country's junior swimming record in the process.
