Priyanka Chopra starts shooting for 'The Sky Is Pink', shares selfies with Zaira Wasim & Farhan Aktar (SEE PICS)

Global icon Priyanka Chopra made her much-awaited return to India on Monday, making the fans excited. After attending an event in Delhi, the ‘Quantico’ actress rushed to Mumbai, where she was snapped by shutterbugs. Movie buffs have been eagerly waiting to see PeeCee on the silver screen since a long time and we have a good news for all of them. The ‘Bajirao Mastani’ actress will start shooting for Shonali Bose’s ‘The Sky Is Pink’ from today. The film will mark Priyanka’s return to Bollywood and will reunite her with ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ co-star Farhan Aktar. The two actors will play parents to ‘Dangal’ girl Zaira Wasim, who is essaying their daughter in the film. Interestingly, Piggy Chops will be co-producing the film along with Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur. Priyanka shared a picture from the sets of the film on Twitter and Instagram. ‘’ I’m so excited and happy about today..Some stories just need to be told. ‘The Sky Is Pink’ is based on the life of Aisha Chaudhary, who became a motivational speaker after being diagnosed with diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis when she was 13 years old. The makers will shoot the film in Delhi, Mumbai, London and the Andamans. Popular screenwriter Juhi Chaturvedi, who wrote scripts for films like ‘Vicky Donor’ and Piku, will pen the dialogues for ‘The Sky Is Pink’. Talking about Priyanka, the Bollywood diva also has 'Cowboy Ninja Viking' opposite Chris Pratt in her kitty. The ‘Barfi’ actress set many tongues wagging after she walked out of Salman Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Bharat.
