Pornography Case: Crime Branch Summons Gehana Vasisth; Shilpa-Raj’s Joint Bank Accounts Under Scanner - Report

Mumbai: The alleged pornography case for which Raj Kundra has been arrested by the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police is coming up with new twists and turns every other moment. After arresting Shilpa Shetty’s husband on July 19, the Crime Branch also reportedly interrogated Shilpa Shetty Kundra for six hours in relation to the alleged case of pornography for which her husband has been arrested.

According to media reports, the ‘Hungama 2’ actress said during interrogation that Raj's company does not make porn content and that their HotShots app only has bold and erotic content. Reportedly, she also claimed that she was not aware of the exact content of the app.

Now, according to the latest update, the Crime Branch has summoned 3 people for questioning. This includes model and actress Gehana Vasisth. Gehana was arrested on 7 February in the pornography case and she is currently out on bail. Reportedly, the Crime Branch is again interrogating the accused who were earlier arrested in this case and are out on bail now.

Gehana also supported Shilpa’s statement which revealed that the content of HotShots is ‘not pornographic but erotic’. Gehana told Times Of India, “Shilpa is correct. The Hotshots app never had any content that could be classified as pornography. How can someone be associated with something that just does not exist. I believe Shilpa is correct when she's saying that she didn't know anything about the Hotshots app, this is based on my personal knowledge. As far as I know, Hotshots has never made any porn film, ever. Those were bold films, erotic films, hot films, but none of them were porn films.”

Also, according to a report of Mid-Day, Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra’s joint bank account is also under the scanner of the Mumbai Crime Branch now. Reportedly, the actress was also questioned about transactions made from her joint account which is in a nationalised bank.

Meanwhile, Raj Kundra will be under police custody till July 27.
