Poonam Pandey’s Husband Sam Bombay Gets Conditional Bail In Assault Case; Here’s All You Need To Know About Actress’ Hubby

New Delhi: Model and actress Poonam Pandey filed a complaint against her husband on Monday alleging him of molesting, abusing and threatening her. After which, her husband Sam Bombay was arrested in Canacona village in South Goa where the actress is currently shooting for a film, a report in PTI said. The couple got married on September 11, 2020, in the presence of only close friends and family members owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. According to a report in PTI, Sam Bombay has been granted conditional bail from a Goa Court and has been asked to report to Canacona Police Station for four days starting from Wednesday. He has also been asked to not interfere with the witnesses. An official revealed to PTI, “Judicial magistrate first class Shanoor Audi granted bail to Sam on Tuesday evening on surety of Rs 20,000.” He earlier told PTI, “Pandey had filed a police complaint late on Monday night claiming that her husband had molested her and threatened her with dire consequences after assaulting her.” The official further added that the victim has been subjected to mandatory medical tests. After getting married recently, Poonam Pandey shared a post on her Instagram with her groom. The couple can be seen twinning in their wedding outfits. Her caption read, “Here’s looking forward to seven lifetimes with you.” To which, Sam Bombay commented, “Absolutely Mrs. Bombay”

Sam Ahmed Bombay is a director, producer and editor whose passion since childhood was to venture into filmmaking. Born in Dubai, the director was earlier married to model Elle Ahmed with whom he has two children – Troy Bombay and Tia Bombay. Sam also directed the popular music video ‘Befikra’ featuring Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani. He runs his own production house ‘Bombay Matinee Films’.
