Pihu: Ronnie Screwvala, Siddharth Roy Kapur reunite for Vinod Kapri's film starring ONLY a 2yr old girl!

Directed by journalist-turned-filmmaker Vinod Kapri, the film with only a single character as lead protagonist, a 2 year old girl Pihu Myra Vishwakarma, which has already rocked many film festivals, now gets a release date and a huge collaboration with the two biggies of Bollywood. After backing unconventional movies like "Dev D", "A Wednesday", "Rang De Basanti" and "Barfi!" during their earlier innings at UTV, Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur have now joined hands for "Pihu" in their new avatars as RSVP and Roy Kapur Films. Inspired by a real story, the national award winning director Kapri's 'Pihu' is about what ensues when circumstances lead to a 2 year old girl being left alone in her house. "Pihu" was officially selected for prestigious international film festivals which include Vancouver, Palmsprings, Iran, Morocco and Germany. Calling it a "unique film", Screwvala said: it is "thrillingly real". Kapri, who earlier helmed "Miss Tanakpur Haazir Ho", said: "I am still pinching myself that I could complete this film 'Pihu'. It was almost an impossible film. The film revolves around a little girl who struggles to wake an unresponsive mother in an empty house that is scattered with the remains of last night’s birthday party. Distracted by the frequent calls made by her father in his attempt to reach his wife, the toddler continues with her misadventures.(Watch teaser at bottom!) "When we began, it seemed like filming would be next to impossible because we couldn't get the child to do exactly what we wanted in one take. But over time, with support from Myra's parents and a highly professional team, the film did get completed.
