Days After Taking COVID-19 Vaccine, Veteran Actor Paresh Rawal Tests Positive For Coronavirus

Paresh Rawal shared a post on social media to inform everyone that he has tested positive for COVID-19.

Veteran actor and former MP Paresh Rawal has tested positive for COVID-19 despite taking the vaccine earlier this month. The ‘Hera Pheri’ actor took to social media to inform the fans that he has been diagnosed with the virus. He requested the people, who came in contact with him in the past 10 days, to undergo a COVID-19 test. He shared the post on his official Twitter handle. 

“Unfortunately, I have tested positive for COVID-19. All those that have come in contact with me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested,” Rawal tweeted. Check out his post!

Fans responded to Paresh’s tweet and sent their get well messages to him. They also prayed for his speedy recovery.

Rawal took his first dose of COVID-19 vaccine on March 9, 2021. He had shared a picture from the hospital to inform the fans about the same. "V for vaccines. ! Thanks to All the Doctors and Nurses and the front line Health care workers and The Scientists," the 'Hungama' actor wrote while posting the picture.

Several tinsel town celebs including Aamir Khan, Kartik Aaryan, Manoj Bajpayee, Satish Kaushik, R Madhavan and Milind Soman have recently tested positive for the virus.

Aamir Khan’s team issued a statement to inform the fans about his health while R Madhavan posted a tweet to share the news. Ranbir Kapoor's uncle Randhir Kapoor, while talking to PTI, shared his health update. He revealed that the 'Barfi' actor is absolutely fine.
