A Pakistani news channel was heavily trolled after it mistakenly carried a photo of Bollywood actor Aamir Khan for a murder accused MQM leader named Amir Khan.
The ‘3 Idiots’ actor was mistakenly named a killer by a Pakistani TV channel which later rectified the error, but by then a screenshot bearing the actor’s image along with the description, went viral on social media.
Pak Journalist Naila Inayat also shared a screenshot of the channel. She tweeted, “Headline: After 17 years MQM leader Amir Khan exonerated in a murder case. Didn’t know Indian actor Amir Khan was in Pakistan for the last 17 years..”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Aamir will be next seen in, 'Laal Singh Chadha' that was slated for a Christmas 2020 release, may just be pushed to 2021 owing to the ongoing coronavirus scare. 'Laal Singh Chaddha', directed by Advait Chandan, is the official remake of Hollywood film, 'Forrest Gump' originally starring Tom Hanks. The comedy-drama also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan as female lead.Headline: After 17 years MQM leader Amir Khan exonerated in a murder case.
